The Candidate List allows you to easily manage your various applicants within a specific job opening. One of the ways you can accomplish this is by categorizing your applicants according to where they are in your recruitment process.
You can move candidates manually through the different states in your Candidate List. Hover over an applicant card and click on the arrow icon "Move." Select which state you would like to move the candidate to from the drop-down.
You can also move multiple applications at once by selecting several candidates. To do this, click on the checkbox that appears next to an applicant's name. Then on the top right corner of your screen, click on "Move" and select the state you would like the move the application to from the drop-down.
All movement between states is controlled by recruiter accounts within your company, except for candidates who have accepted your invite. Once a candidate you have previously sent an invite has chosen to accept and apply, they will automatically be moved from your Invited Candidates to Shortlisted.
By default, candidates are automatically notified through email if they are moved from one default state to another. You can toggle this setting by going to your Company Settings.
Movement between custom states or custom and default states will not automatically notify candidates unless you have set up an automated trigger to send message templates.
The Default states are: Leads, Applications, Shortlist, For Interview, Offered, Hired, and Archived. Custom states are any states created by any recruiter accounts in your company account.
