Customize your application process for every job posted by adding custom questions to your job post.
Each custom question allows you to gather different types of information from a candidate while they finish the application process.
The different types of custom questions are:
Upload a document
Request candidates to upload documents. This might be useful for viewing portfolios, writing samples, etc.
Text (short input)
This question is useful for asking candidates to answer questions with short responses.
Text (long input)
Use this question to require candidates to answer questions requiring a longer response. This question can be useful for assessing an applicant's writing skills.
Checkbox
Ask candidates to choose from a list of options.
Voice recording
Ask candidates to record themselves answering a question. This question can be useful for assessing an applicant's verbal communication skills.
To add a custom question to an existing job post, click “edit” when you hover over any job post.
Scroll down to the “Custom Questions” section and click “Add custom question.”
Select the type of custom question you would like to add and fill in the necessary details.
You can add as many custom questions to your application process. However, be mindful of how long your application process will take. Avoid asking for information that is already visible on a candidate’s profile.
Candidates' profiles will be available to you as soon as they apply to your jobs. If there are any unanswered custom questions, their application will be marked under "Applications In Progress" in your Candidate List.
